ASYA Project: Workshop “Networking and team work” (Spain, 19-23 March 2018)

The “Networking and Teamwork” workshop will take place from March 19 to 23, 2018. The 9  partners of the Erasmus + ASYA project, including social street workers from Nepal, Vietnam, Philipines, Cambodia, Timor Lest, Hong Kong, will meet for the first time in Pamplona (Spain). The Asociación Navarra Nuevo Futuro, coordinating the ASYA Project, will be the welcoming entity.

The partners of the ASYA project will seek to build together local responses to social exclusion in the participating Asian countries. Although these countries have ratified the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, the implementation of children’s rights at national levels remains precarious, especially in relation to young people in street situations.

The ASYA project seeks to address these shortcomings and aims to promote in these countries support programs for marginalized groups through the methodology of street education based on a non-formal educational action.
